1. Irrigate

Turf Installation
At Greener Scapes, we start with a detailed site assessment for Perth conditions – evaluating soil, drainage, and sunlight to recommend the ideal turf variety.
Our five-step installation process includes:
- Removing/levelling existing sand or turf to 100mm below paver/driveway height.
- Adding 50mm of soil conditioner and adjusting sprinklers for optimal irrigation.
- Screeding for precise levelling, ensuring 50mm below paver/driveway.
- Laying the new turf.
- Compacting the turf to improve soil contact and remove air pockets for a perfect finish.

Stu’s journey began in 2000 at Royal Fremantle Golf Club and Burswood Casino, where he developed his turf management skills. After running a successful garden restoration business in London, he returned to Perth in 2007 to launch Stu's Garden Maintenance. In 2013, he expanded into Stem Group Landscaping, offering a wide range of services before selling the business.
